Emma Schubart, Partner
Emma is a data scientist and researcher with experience leading analytics and investigative research across public policy, market research, security, and major project delivery.
Previously, Emma was a Research Associate at JL Partners where she advised political and corporate clients on public sentiment surrounding foreign affairs, energy and healthcare. Prior to that, she was a Data Scientist at Oxford Global Projects, where she helped public and private sector clients manage capital exposure and delivery uncertainty across energy and infrastructure portfolios.
Emma holds an MSc in Applied Data Science, and BAs in Political Science and Music.

James Lawson, Partner
James was Microsoft’s Chief Technology Officer for Defence, leading their landmark agreement with UK MOD. He has also held leadership roles at two AI startups, DataRobot and WorkFusion, supporting customers including Bank of America, Stantander, Spotify, Chanel, and Telefonica with digital transformation
In government, James served as Senior Special Adviser to Nadhim Zahawi in the Cabinet Office.
He is Chairman of the Adam Smith Institute, ranked the world’s leading independent think tank. He is also Director of Programmes at Helsing, Europe’s leading Defence AI company.
At Deloitte he guided customers like Police Scotland on their 2026 Strategy and the Metropolitan Police on their Met Change Programme.

James Price, Partner
James was Chief of Staff to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and a Senior Special Adviser in the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury.
He also served as a special adviser to Nadhim in the Department for Education.
Prior to advising Nadhim, James was also a SpAd for the Leader of the House of Lords, helping to pass all Government legislation through the final steps of the UK’s policy process.
Price has also worked as a senior political consultant, where he advised customers including Microsoft, Meta, Goldman Sachs and Uber, and has also run think tanks.
James holds an MA from the University of Oxford, where he was President of the Oxford Union and MSc in Security Studies from UCL.

Mitchell Palmer, Economist
Mitchell has strong experience in financial, economic, and statistical modelling. At Castalia Advisors, he built the financial model for a $1bn social housing project and a long-term electricity market model underpinning a major government funding bid. In government, he scrutinised multi-billion-dollar Crown investment proposals, testing assumptions, sensitivities, and risks.
Mitchell has applied advanced methods to policy and politics, including geospatial election modelling.
Mitchell holds a First-Class BA in History and Economics from Oxford.
